For those who are playing, or looking to play the new PSO, here is an explanation of the leaderboard.

For non-active members of Pokerstars, they pay 200 spots, the money goes directly into your players account each month. For members of Pokerstars ( players who earn at least 20 points the previous month ) they pay 1000 places on the leaderboard, and you receive 10 times the prize money if you finish in the top 100.  So first place overall receives $150.00 if they are not an active member, but an active member would receive $1500.  Hope this helps, and best of luck.

Great news today, PSO re-opened through Poker Stars today.

The ranking system is the same, but Poker Stars has added over $17,000 each month in prizes.  To join, you need to join Poker Stars, go to Pokerstars.com to download,  click on the PSO tab, and re-join through there. You will have to pass a poker test to play, but i found it easy to pass. Everything, including the software, is run like, and through Poker Stars now.  Hope to see some you there.
